Question:

Isn't Sen. Joe Lieberman (I) Connecticut a bit hypocritical in his remarks about Barak Obama?

Lieberman pledged in June not to make personal attacks on Obama while stumping for McCain. But Tuesday, Lieberman compared McCain's role as a Vietnam War hero with Obama's lack of military experience. - AP

This coming from a one time presidential candidate (remember 2004) who received an educational deferment from the Vietnam war draft while at Yale University and then a family deferment upon graduation.

So basically, Lieberman is saying that his own lack of military experience (DRAFT DODGER) should not have been considered when he threw his hat into the ring but that Obama's lack of military experience should be a factor.

God, I hope McCain picks him as a running mate. His campaign is sure to tank if he does.

  1. The comments he made were regarding his lack of experience in the foreign affairs arena... Fact is Obama hasn't been in the national political scene long enough to understand things... It's funny how he did play off of what McCain said in the end.  Give him another few terms in the senate before he tries to run for higher office... We can't have him taking Presidential classes for the first 3 years of his 4 year gig.

  2. So a comparison of experience is a personal attack? Obama has no experience. Boy you libs are touchy when someone actually uses facts. How dare they!

  3. Obama never was a boy scout, Does not know the Pledge of Allegiance ,They man has as much credibility as Al GOREY  Lieberman is a very intelligent man who tells you like it is,Thats why the Liberals hate him,He was a great man when he ran for VP.Your party  should Be called the Pathetic Party,The stupidity is rampant amongst You Liberals,Just read some of the answers they give on YA to serious questions,If it wasn't welfare checks they would starve to death to stupid to get a good Job,God Bless Burger King

  4. First we would have to go back and list all the politicians during that era that did not serve.  Might make your argument valid, or not.  Secondly, put his @ss on the ballot.  If the Liberals didn't like him and he is really a Democrat, he has my vote.

  5. I guess he forgot about the bush administration and their lack of military experience.

  6. You want to know what's really funny?  If the Dems had been smart enough to nominate Lieberman in either 2000 or 2004, they would have won either election.  Now they've nominated another loser and Lieberman is calling them on it, so the Dems whine about it.

    Three-peat.

  7. Wait.  You're telling me that Lieberman is a warmonger who dodged the draft?

This guy sounds more and more Republican all the time.
