  1. WaMu used to be great but they are swimming in debt and there customer service seems to have gotten really bad in the last 6 months or so.  I just closed my account (got sick of the dumb mistakes) so I'd advise, based on that, for you to go somewhere else.  Still, that is just my experience.


  2. If you don't go over 100,000 because they have a lot of bad loans .

    fdic insures you for up to 100,000

    they give free checks free checking so its pretty good.
