Isn't cursing haram?

Assalaam O Alaikum W.W

Isn't cursing haram...if not haram isnt it a bad thing?

so why do muslims in this section curse?

when i say curse i mean like :

WTF?.....now y should u use that?

i dont think muslims out of all persons whould curse

yes but it happens unexpectingly. esp when they are mad. i just say astaghfurAllah when ever i find myself saying it

some people [mostly arabs] do it to see who has the most powerful swer words

my firends and i once had a competiotion to see who can say the worst word to who and well.. lest just say it ddint go to well. some people greet ech other like that

ex they say

he you mother ****ing son of a b*t*h and so on!

Well Its normal now a days to curse and WTF is not considered as a bad word now ! Its a Noun !!

SO Basically we are not cursing we are making use of a  Noun in a very attractive way !

yes you are in fact right , it is haram

but haram things varies  in magnitude . e.g. the sin of murder is sure  worse than throwing trash on the street, get what i mean?

anyway ,no one is perfect . but people should learn to control themselves , Muslims of all people should learn that

Yes, cursing and foul language is haram.  The Prophet (sa) never did it, especially to other Muslims.

i agree and im sorry cuz i've cursed a few times on here too including today cuz the haterzz thatask dumb questions get ppl on here angry and thats when we curse but i'll try to narrow it down for the sake of Islam

U R right.The prophet said " the Mo'min shouldn't curse". And that every one will be held responsible of what his tongue says.

I guess technically but i have a different view on this.  LIke a curse word is only a bad word if you decide for it to be.  I think if everyone just stopped taking offense to curse words, they'd disappear.
