  1. no global warming is retarded. people should be focusing on all the hate and discrimination in the world instead of the climate changes its all part of a cycle anyway.

  2. no, I think the biggest problem in the world is that people dont question things like global warming and the people that make them belive it is gonna kill us all.

  3. It's a part of the biggest problem...the problem being socialism.  Read the answers:  Those who believe in AGW and wish to control man are the same one's who hate humanity.

  4. It is only a matter of time, perhaps very little time , before it will be.

  5. We only have this tiny, little wet rock, spinning through space! Lets not s***w it up!

  6. No it is not. Global warming Fanatics are. They seek to drain the life from the economy and to reduce the standard of living. They wish to intrude on our life styles and impose their wills on us. All in the name of false science.

  7. Hi Uncle Dud,

Your question is a thoughtful one, a human one.

May I share a story?  I was out early one morning delivering newspapers.  It was still very dark.  I saw two large birds going at it and then they dropped right along side my car.  It was an owl and a hawk! True story!  The owl was on top of the hawk, I know it thought it had  found its dinner, then bedtime, nighty night, sun's coming up.  I saw that mighty  beautiful hawk  slowly bow its head down in acceptance of what was to come.   Well, stupid me, I said to the owl , "What are you doing!"   For about 5 second the owl's eyes and mine locked.  He flew up to the big birdie perch (the telephone pole), and I got out of the car and scooped up the hawk.  He had only one scratch  on him, not sure of internal injuries, but was definitely alive.  I brought him home, made a nice towel bed for him, finished my paper route.  When I got back, he was dead  You see, his soul had left his body at that moment he had bowed his head down.  Animals are much smarter than we are!  I think we walked with them and thought like them for awhile and then we became arrogant, a bit selfish really, and we now think that we are more significant than they are.  But our earth knows how to balance things.  She is taking care of herself because, well to put it in a human way, if mom can't take care of herself, she can't take care of her kids.

Ever wonder why the ocean just doesn't get saltier and saltier from water evaporation?  The Earth has vents down at the bottom of the ocean that seems to filter things out!   I learned this from a book call History of Nearly Everthing.  I think it is by Bill Bryson.  So between the owl and this book I have learned that the Earth is doing what she needs to do to survive.  Everything, no matter what happens, will be alright.

Your question was a thoughtful one, a human one.

  8. who knows?

    how 'bout Darfur?

but then if Darfur was caused by drought, brought on by global warming, ......

and if droughts elsewhere, resulting from global warming, caused wars, ........

but of course, the real problem is that we want more and cheaper gasoline for our cars, and we want it to last forever.

that's really the biggest problem ----- our greed.

  9. Nope, humans are the biggest problem in the world. We are the cause of the global warming, the pollution problem, all the wars, all the hate. Not saying i don't love humans, but if you think about it we are the cause of all these problems.

  10. If the next incoming round is a dud, dud.

  11. No, I think the biggest problem in the world is all the wars.

  12. No because your world is so small it seems big.  The only science you get is spoon fed and real science is harder to get and most people are lazy.

If you are starving to death or your wife and daughter are raped daily who cares if it is .1 degree warmer over the past 10 years?

  13. BUSH is. You got your prioririties wrong. Global warming is the second biggest problem in the world.

  14. Yes, I believe it is.  It is has an effect on every living thing and people need to realize it will soon effect humans also, more than it already is: wildfires, droughts, hurricanes, etc.  The ice melts, overflows the ocean and caos begins!

  15. No-- the biggest problem in the world is the millions of people that die each year from disease, lack of fresh water, and food.

No one has died from GW.

  16. yes it is global warming is causing polar ice caps but that's not all the earth could warm up more than 11f and oceans could rise up more than 3 feets global warming also bring natural disasters like storms and floods

  17. it will be if all the power hungry freaks that run our government and all the other governments in this world wise up and relize that wars dont solve anything and they certainly arent the best way to spend money.

For example we are spendind 17 MILLION dollars a day in the war in iraq! Where do you think that money is coming from? Its going to be the next generation that has to pay for our governments stupid mistakes! It will be the kids who are now in junior high and high school that will grow up and have to pay off those millions of dollars! Or  our government just prints more money to pay for the war which results in innflation which is happening right now

Yeah think about it as the government prints more money then it ever has the price of everything goes up and its already started! the dollar is losing its value and not just in america all over the world different money systems are getting stronger. Money like the euro (european money) is already worth more than the american dollar!

Thats what the war in iraq is all about! NO its not about the people who dont have freedom and thats what we're giving to them. I f it was about the freedom of a country then we shouldn't be over there in the first place. I know its a valiant cause that we should try to help another country to gain its freedom, but if that country needs help just getting its freedom than how will it maintain its freedom? take america for example we fought the revolutionary war by our selves and it was still hard to maintain the countrys unity.

NO the war over in Iraq is about the dollar losing its value and bush trying to maintain hold of more oil. All that war is is a power struggle, a gruesome power struggle that has killed thousands of american lives. Lives of people that probably had families that will never be able to live the same again!

I personally agree with standing up for our freedom but right now our freedom isnt at stake and our government needs to wise up, pull out of iraq, focus on this country and get it straightened out ( if they can ), and try to understand whats important, and whats important is making sure this country doesnt go into another great depression like it so easily could have last month when those banks failed! Or as a matter of fact it could happen any day now with how insecure our economy is!!

So no right now our government needs to worry about the war and our economy right now. BUT if they dont  straighten things out SOON they'll run out of time and our ozone could collapse or somthing else could happen!

Too finish off if you read this LOL i believe that there are a few things that require more attention than the global warming BUT if the whole world doesnt come to and soon then it WILL be our biggest problem!

Sorry its so long i really needed to vent thanks if you read it : )

bye and lets hope good ole earth holds up a little longer hopefully the BIG MAN will give us a little more time to get our heads screwed on straight

  18. Yes.  It's a huge challenge to every one of us not to turn our eyes away out of fear or be daunted by the enormity of the problem.

  19. no china/tibet problem is the biggest problem

  20. It is the biggest hoax in the world....it's all fake non-sense that has never been proven and never will be proven because it isn't real!!!!!....it is just the earth going through one of its many cycles..

  21. Yes and the everyone knows it it is up to the united states to adress the issue with action insteads of constitant talking its time for a change

  22. To clear some things up here...  First of all global warming doesn't directly kill anyone or thing.  It cause conditions that kill, and have the potential to cause extinction, and we are not safe just because we arrogantly think we are.  Yes global warming is natural, no duh, but we do enhance it, you can't really argue this.  And even if it was completely natural...  It will still cause extinction, cause it has done it before.  You people don't think it's a problem because you can't SEE it affect you.  I call that simple minded and ignorant.

  23. NO, warmer temps have always been very beneficial to humans.

During the last warm period (around 1000 to 1400 AD) the human population flourished. The cold era's are what is problematic for the human race.

  24. No.  The biggest problem is religion.

  25. No.  Global warming is just a symptom.  As is the poisoning of the land, sea, and air.  The cause - humans.

  26. No,  global warming will result in an eventual ice age (they happen about every ten to fifteen thousand years).  The biggest problem in the world is economic disparity and over population.

  27. yes because it affects every living organism on Earth. Also, it is causing species to die everyday. If nothing is done about it, there will be major natural disasters. so far, no government in the world has done anything major to combat it.

  28. Actually, the biggest problem in the world is the group claiming that global warming is a catstrophic problem.

  29. It's a symptom of the larger problem.

Too many people using too many resources making too much waste.

What is the obvious solution to that problem?
