  1. I actually do feel bad for Bristol. She is bearing the brunt for her mothers poor choices. Teenage pregnancy happens..that is life. She is just a kid. The problem is that her mother has made this ridiculous stance and now the irony of the situation is just too much for people to lay off of. It will die down, but let's think about the way Edwards has been treated....

Goes both ways...luckily as liberals we are more forgiving. We are also more understanding of the plight of human beings.

  2. Not for her incompetent mother. Sarah Palin didn't do a good job with her daughter and it shows. So, how does Sarah Palin think she has the character or intelligence to run for the second-highest office in the land?

  3. It's just that every core value that Sarah Palin supposedly had has come to bite her--how embarrassing is it for your own daughter to make you look like a fool? I feel bad for the family but the media says this is too delicious to let rest.

  4. I agree.  I'm an Obama supporter - but these personal family matters should stay personal.  While I don't think Palin is a smart choice for VP, I'd rather tear her down on her record.  Like her suing the govt. for putting Polar bears on the endangered species list, wanting to teach creationism in public schools,  and her total lack of experience.

  5. I know it is sick Don't you think that she may feel bad about what happened and that she is truly sorry?Don't you think that being a single (till she gets married)teenage mom is hard enough?Seriously can't we find some real debates to talk about.Even Barack said enough.

  6. I agree.  If people want to attack her mother for wanting to put religious beliefs into law when she can't even get her own children to follow her beliefs, that's one thing, but we should all lay off the namecalling of the daughter.  That's just not cool.

  7. Bristol is a funny name

    "Ho in the snows"

I sincerely hope I never, ever see or read anybody saying that ever again.  In no way is this comment politically related.  I'm just talking about how utterly homosexual the term "Ho in the snows" is under any circumstances.

  8. Is it true that this guy is 25?  Must be a real winner if he's dating high school girls.

  9. The issue isn't Bristol - it's Bristol's mother Sarah and her ideology banning s*x education and banning contraception that contributed to her daughter becoming pregnant at age 16 out of wedlock.

  10. I agree on principle, but heck, it's been less than a day.  I'm sure this will die down in two or three months.

  11. i am an Obama supporter and I have never bashed her.  i agree that it's a family matter. my mother is a model of perfection and she had my sister at 17, and married my father...and we all turned out FINE.

  12. Oh cute a damsel in distress syndrome, why don't you lay off Obama is a muslim theory.

  13. I have compassion for Bristol, just not her mom. Something went terribly wrong if your 17 year old is pregnant and you are going to leave home and try to become VP when your daughter really needs you. What kind of parent are you if you leave your daughter for your own personal gain?

Bristol was acting out because she didn't have the love and care from her parents. Shame on you Sarah Palin.

  14. It seems like Bristol gave to mush compassion one time to many to her boyfriend.

  15. my dear departed momma used to say "people who live in glass houses shouldnt throw rocks" I heard a lot of glass breaking in here tonight.

  16. I agree. I have nothing but compassion for Bristol. But I hate her parents for being pro-life and forcing her into a shotgun wedding.

  17. It really isn't about Bristol Palin or even Sarah Palin, but John McCain.  He had 6 months to conduct VP search.  He had the nomination locked in by last March.  His campaign didn't properly vet this candidate.

"Aides to Mr. McCain said they had a team on the ground in Alaska now to look more thoroughly into Ms. Palin’s background. A Republican with ties to the campaign said the team assigned to vet Ms. Palin in Alaska had not arrived there until Thursday, a day before Mr. McCain stunned the political world with his vice-presidential choice. The campaign was still calling Republican operatives as late as Sunday night asking them to go to Alaska to deal with the unexpected candidacy of Ms. Palin."

This goes to the debate of McCain not having sound judgment.  He couldn't have sabotage his campaign more.

  18. Only when the Republicans quit making fun of Clinton

  19. Do you really think with all her problems she is at home looking at the Yahoo boards..I serioiusly, doubt that. I'm sure she was warned to stay off the internet until this dies down. Its been one day and in the last 3 months I've read the same c**p from people...Obama this and Obama that. This has nothing to do with Bristol but with her mothers extreme views. I could understand people being pro-life but to not want her children to have s*x ed. is crazy! Do they ever think? In a perfect world my son would never have s*x until marriage but thats a perfect world and I'd rather him be alive then have myself remain in a bubble of denial.

  20. "people's families are off limits, and people's children are especially off limits."

    - Obama

I'm truly impressed with him stepping up so quickly in the defense of his opponent on this. Its sad to see that so many Americans don't have his level of integrity.

  21. no, you guys have been bashing every aspect of Obamas life for almost a year...time for a little pay back.

we call it Ho's in the snows

Telling about all you "christian family values" while your 16 year old is out "painting the town"

    woohaha

    too rich
