After the draft, Carlito asked for a vacation, using this time to attend his father's official retirement ceremonies at Aniversario 2008, where he also wrestled against Ray Gonzalez.

That's why we haven't seen him recently. He should be back soon though! :)

Yep And this is Charlie Haas we're talking about getting more tv time than Carlito.The same Charlie that Vince said he'd prefer watching paint dry to watching wrestling a while back ! He's been jobbing recently with that masked gimmick and is now copying Carlito's own gimmick.Carlito has been complaining publicly about not getting a push for any title and how his character isn't getting used.He bashed WWE publicly during the recent tour of South America and Triple H in particular got criticized.I guess with all that's going on with Carlito and what was said, he's being left off the shows as punishment.He almost joined TNA last year and might leave when his contract runs down.
