I am a Obama supporter and I am Indian, so don't say I am a racist. Though isn't it funny that Obama experimented with drugs, grew up poor, and didn't have his biological father there the whole time. Those are the stereotypes black people are given. Also, he listens to rap, and his one of his favorite songs is by Kanye, known to be an egomaniac, and Jay-z is his favorite artist currently, who used to be a former drug dealer. I can't wait for Obama to lead our country, I feel like the USA is finally ready for a black president, and Obama is the man for the job.

  1. You're right. He IS a stereotypical black man, but not because of the reasons you listed. He's a stereotypical black man because he is an extremely intelligent man and he has a strong mind. He has LEARNED from his past mistakes. He didn't let anyone tell him what he could and couldn't do in his life, because if he did, he would have never had anything to do with politics. He is an honest, outstanding, educated individual who stands up for what he believes in.

And not that music has anything to do with it, but I'm pretty sure he listens to other types of music.

So yeah, I do think he is a stereotypical black man.

AND to the person directly below me, Obama picked Biden because he believes that Biden can help him during his presidency(assuming he wins the election.) Him being white has nothing to do with it, and neither does the fact that he didn't choose someone "from his own kind", as you put it. Plain and simple: Obama chose Biden because he was qualified for the position. Simple as that.

  2. Not really his father is african and his father died most stereotypical blacks fathers are alive just dont care of them.

  3. Isn't it funny how Obama is a stereotypical black man?

I am a Obama supporter and I am Indian, so don't say I am a racist.

So what if you're an Indian does this make you above and beyond being a racist "I don't think so!

I can't wait for Obama to lead our country, I feel like the USA is finally ready for a black president, and Obama is the man for the job.

That's your opinion and my opinion is Obama is the wrong man for the job whether black or white.

  4. I suppose it really IS stereotypical when a black man chooses a rich white man as his running "mate"...it speaks volumns to the fact that he doesn't seem to have faith in his own kind or in the party that he is attempting to take over.  I can't wait to watch him fail miserably & listen to the whining of his supporters when the blindfold is removed & they see him for what he really is........a POSER with a hidden agenda.

Obama-Biden vs Osama Bin Laden...what a sad joke on the people & a dangerous combination of confusion for the USA.

  5. Yeah and there are lots of things about him that are not stereotypical of any race.  To answer this cloying question which annoys me and to not get kicked off for insulting your presumption that because you are Indian that you can't possibly be thinking in racist terms, I will just say that he is running for president which makes him not stereotypically anything other than an outstanding individual.

  6. yes it is funny how many stereotypes he fails under

like having to work hard to get the money to go to school.

graduation at the top of his class.

turning down lawyer jobs that would have paid him very well to go out and help his community.

being so awesome but yet having people think he is not fit for a job because of his skin color.

people thinking he is an uppity elites because he is smart and educated.

    etc etc etc
