  1. yes it is

  2. fair play to her, an All-Ireland title is just for counties in Ireland, and then just London and New York, the rose of tralee is a worldwide competition. I know there is nothing as good as winning an All-Ireland but it's a pretty big thing for them to win.

is the rose of tralee rigged, she was the bookies favourite to win all along, what did they know that we didn't.

  3. Yay, up Tipp!

(And not in the usual Podge and Rodge manner, no offence fellas, but I've seen your show!)

  4. that's abt all they wil win ha

  5. Tipperary has a lovely'er laugh i'm afraid

  6. Wooo-hooo! Go on Aoife you good thing! Well she IS prettier than Brendan Cummins or Eoin Kelly, you have to give her that. And believe me, she'll be welcome in whichever Riding she fancies, especially when she arrives home in her fancy new vehickle. Better than my Massey Ferguson anyway. I even had a bet on!

Speaking of which, this from The Kerryman:

"As is the case every year, there’s also a range of more bizarre bets on offer including odds on a Rose fainting on stage, host Ray D’Arcy dyeing his hair or tearing a Rose’s dress and a Rose being unmasked as a transsexual."

Aoife is not a transexual, we saw her in all her glory during the heifer-wrestling qualifiers for the Pride of Tipperary competition (our local, low-key version of Miss Madra).
