I mean, C'mon folks how much energy do you think it takes to put out a concert like they do. All that lighting and sound equipment must leave a HUGH brown spot in their green world. So how can they say one thing and do another? Where is their credibilty on this issue?

  1. or the concerts to raise "awareness" of less fortunate people... like they couldn't make it a fund-raiser instead... what about what she says about using only one suare of toilet paper...hmmm, how bout I just use my hand instead? i mean, really, with only one square, whats the point?

  2. Remember Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"? What's funny is they published something recently about how much HIS electric bill is. It nearly quadrupled (not quoting this, going from the top of my memory) AND it's because he bought a BIG mansion. Yes, big mansions take a lot of money to run for electric but c'mon! Isn't the addage, "Do as I say, not as I do"? Seems like it. Below is the story of it.

  3. A celeb will drive their hybrid car to the airport to get on a private charted jet to fly across the nation. 1,000 gallons later they get into a streach lemo to go to the concert to talk about using one square of TP. They feel good about themselves. They are role models. They are your leaders. Like your Senate Majority leader who wanted a bigger private jet so that she would not have to stop to refuel.

  4. Most celebrities have so much money that they are out of touch with reality.  They're used to getting what they want and if they want to have a big get together to prove how smart they are and to show the world that their musical superpowers can prevent the polar ice caps from melting, they're gonna do it.   The real problem isn't the celebrities though, its the people that follow their every move and fork over their hard earned dollars to go to one of these futile concerts.  If no one went, there would be no economic incentive for the musician to hold a global warming awareness concert.

  5. She should be ranting about the Irony of stealing another woman's man and then losing him herself....

  6. It's good publicity and it sells CD's and  makes money.

  7. Yes, as they burn all that electricity to spew their views and nobody can talk back, and make loads of cash on top of that.

It is wrong to use a paying audience as a captive audience
