Isn't it ironic that the Liberals are attacking Palin?

for having the quintessential Democratic family i.e. minor child who drinks and got pregnant out of wedlock. If she has a (D) after her name instead of an (R) and had been picked by Obama they'd be championing her as proof of how progressive and in touch with American Values they are.

The difference is, the "Democratic Family" would not have picked a running mate (one heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world) with so many personal issues to deal with. Something will suffer. The question is, what? Her family? Career? OUR future? Will Mr. Palin be the stay at home dad while his wife is off breaking tie votes in the senate? With McCain's record on women's issues, and his obvious lack of knowledge regarding Palin, it begs the question, why? The answer is that McCain didn't pick her, his campaign picked her. He looks so uncomfortable just standing next to her at the podium! With McCains age and health in question, it's a very real possibility she may need to step up to lead this nation. Hopefully her youngest will be past the breast feeding stage and her family will not have to rely on her for guidance. By the way, isn't she still under investigation? Wasn't she for the "bridge to nowhere" before she was against it?

No one who has any intellect or compassion would champion a pregnant teen, who is most likely embarrassed and frightened to have been thrown in the spotlight. And, again, there will always be some people who attack someone for unimportant reasons which don't relate to politics. However, I suggest you don't generalize by saying that all liberals care about the daughter. Honestly, look at Obama's remarks about the pregnancy, and if you want to know of a democratic political analyst who has completely dismissed this issue as unrelated, watch footage of James Carville.

Here' something to think about.....Aren't more than half of what the dems preach about in favor for people who are single parents on welfare and living off the goverment? The middle class working ppl are the ones who pay for it. (I am a single mom - divorced- with 2 kids not able to get assistance and I pay for those who don't try.)

They have no reason to backlash at Palin. She is supporting her daughter although she may not agree with the situation. I think that says alot about her as a parent! Therefor sums up my vote.

How wrong you are, Obama would never have put himself and someone else in the spot light as John McCain has. McCain with all his so called experience knew this would happen, and his lack of ways to get votes from the people for good causes found a way out, when he lose the election, watch and see what takes place. Everyone in the country will place the reason on the lady from Alaska that McCain didn't get elected.

This is politics...and Sarah Palin is no different from any other politician...the American public has a right to know...my question is this...WHY IS SARAH PALIN DUCKING THE MEDIA?  And, I'm not just talking about the need for some private, family time...She needs to stop shoving BS in people's faces and come forward with details about her "executive experience" because here is what I already know about her:

1.) Sarah Palin and her husband belonged to the Alaskan Independent Party, an extremist political organization that is fighting hard to secede from the United States of America and instructs its members to infiltrate the major US political parties to advanced their agenda.

2.) Sarah Palin is responsible for bring $6.9 Milliion dollars in "earmarks" to her State of Alaska during her time as Mayor of Wasilla and Governor of Alaska....She is no "newbie" when it comes to playing the Washington DC lobbying game because she is using "special interest" lobbyists for her own interests.

3.) Sarah Palin was the director over Alaskan Sen. Stevens "527" Group (that is the Senator under investigation for taking "bribes" for building his nice Alaskan home). She was responsible for "fund-raising".

Now, tell me if this sounds like a woman who knows how to "wheel and deal" in the turn around and deal the American public a bunch of bull....

How would the Republicans act if the situation was reversed? You would say it is because of the lax morals taught by the liberals. Politics are dirty and when a self-proclaimed 'saved' person has a 17 year old daughter that gets knocked up it just adds fuel to the fire. Who cares if you go against what the Bible teaches when you will be forgiven?  

Obama has stated that family should be off limits.

There is a conservative machine as much as there is a liberal machine. I lived in Texas when GW Bush was running for governor and I saw how the lies and propaganda machine worked to get him elected.
