With his temper, he likely would otherwise have been a wife beater. His wife Cindy, the woman McCain once called a "f---ing trollup" and a "c---" in public, is lucky that way, isn't she? Just one incident -- just one -- and his political career would have been over.

Not true I mean he gave into the Vietnam soldiers and signed the papers against the USA to get home, yes people he did and this is the only reason why he is here alive today. This is bad enough to ruin a political career for sure but for some reason people don't care. They think getting a BJ in the White house is worse. Go figure our morals and beliefs are out the window, we are not the same America we were 50 yrs ago. I don't think anyone would care if he hit his wife back in the day.....they would have some BS excuse to make it ok.

Even I am in disagreement on many things with McCain, I resent the fact, that you are so totally disrespectful.

But then, the language you use indicates a lot of shortcomings you have.
