Isn't it sad that Paris Hilton's energy plan is better than Obama's?

Paris Hilton's plan, according to her "rebuttal video" to McCain's celebrity ad highlights that she agrees with 60-80 percent of Americans that we need to drill here, drill now as well as invest money into alternative energy such as nuclear, wind, solar and tidal.

But Obama doesn't agree with the People. He has said numerous times that he isn't opposed to gas prices being this high, he just wished it didn't go up this quickly.

Isn't it sad that Paris Hilton, heiress to a multi-billion dollar Hotel chain, is less elitist than Barrack Obama?

Um, she agrees with Obama, who knows if she understands that he has already stated her plan.

She did not say 'drill here, drill now'....she said that we could have SOME drilling with Strict environmental regulations until detroit could start making cars that were alternatively fueled. That is exactly what Obama has stated previously.

Oh has Obama flip flopped again and now he is in favor of drilling. I tell you what wait an hour or two and he will change his mind again. When he said that he is change he must have ment changing his mind. Unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!! If any Republican flip flopped half as much the mainstream media would be all over it.

Gas prices suck, but frankly, we pay a lot less than many other people in other countries do, due to government subsidies. Someone is paying for those subsidies, and it's you, the American tax payer.

High gas prices are the ONLY way automakers and refiners will be spurred to increase fuel efficiency and alternative energy sources, because "the People", in their infinite wisdom, refused to support government research into these programs back in the 1970s, because all "the People" care about is their immediate needs, and can't see past their next paycheck. "Leaders" are individuals who can see past immediate needs and plan for the future. I believe Barack Obama is the Leader we need at this moment.
