Isn't it sad when parents go to the bar instead of take care of their kid?

My cousin Ashley is three years older then me but we where always good friends we had a little break up when I was 3 and she was 6 and she broke my ball pool but anyway we where always good friends by the time Ashley was four and a half she was alowd to ride her bike around town alone and stay home alone and when she got hungry she was to fix a bowl of cerial for her self..... while my aunt and uncle where at the bar (When I was ten I remember my grandma great grandma mom and dad talking about this when I was outside playing with Ashley (her parents would drop her off for weeks at my grandma's house ones she turned 12) they said that she was normal because she raised herself and when I was ten with 14 year old Ashley there geting a soda I was thinking cool she raised herself I was a child used to strict commands and at that time I was thinking I wish MY parents where always at the bar.... now it seems so sad that she raised herself but she was a normal kid we went to the dollar tree

some people can be so so rude!!! yes that is sad its part of life I guess so many parents now days just don't show enough attention to there kids or let them do what ever and some just don't care but I hope shes learned from it not to do it to her children I know I did !!!

Anyways, I didnt read all of your question because it was too long and poorly written, so much that I couldnt understand what you were saying really... however I will say, just because a parent goes to a bar does not make them a bad parent. As long as they are putting their kids before a bar, and not going home drunk to them, a parent should be allowed to take a break on occasions..

Edit - ok, the father didnt even know his kids name, yes he is a bad father... but sweetie not every parent who goes to bars is a bad parent. I watch my niece once a month, while my sister goes out to relax and have fun, and she goes to bars and parties.... she loves her daughter, but like i said every parent needs a break...
