  1. That's actually true, lol.

  2. It's not all about experience. That's where the cabinet comes in. They are a president's advisors and if you think any president ever made every decision on his own you are not too well informed. The most important thing is having an intelligent decision maker with a cool head as president and that sure leaves McCain out. The real comparison is between Biden and Palin. That's like comparing apples and oranges. Biden has been a top political leader on the national level for much longer than Palin has been simply a local politician with 'O' experience at the nationl level. I feel very bad for Palin when she debates Biden later on. He will chew her up and spit her out! By the way I am not a Dem, I am an independent who will be sitting out this election since I don't feel good about either candidate.

  3. Isn't scary to republicans that there number 2 a person who has never been to Washington and never had to deal with the people that pass laws (Senate and House). is she really gonna help McCain in Washington. At lease Obama know how to deal with Senate and the house.

  4. yes, yes it is.

  5. What's scary is people who are completely set in their conservative way, like you!

  6. I wouldn't count being the Governor of a state with a population of almost 700,000 people as experience.  Most U.S. cities have larger populations.  Besides, McCain only met this lady twice (one time being today).  So much for judgment.  He's senile for real.  Poor old guy.

  7. 7+ years of Bush has been lesson enough that experience means squat.

  8. What's really scary is how Dems won't admit Obama lacks experience!

  9. Not scary at all, really. Obama is charismatic. It was only natural.

But I was so happy to see Palin selected as McCain's running mate. Go McCain/Palin!

Edit: And Miko, Sarah Palin was NOT just a journalist before she became governor of Alaska 2 years ago. She was a mayor, a pro-life activist, and chairwoman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commision. Before she was mayor, she was on the city council.

All Obama has been is a senator who likes to play the race card, listens to an anti-American black pride "our ancesstors were oppressed so we deserve special rights beyond equal rights" pastor even though he currently denies it, and chose Biden in an attempt to appeal to Catholic voters, even though we're not fooled by his very pro-choice running mate who doesn't uphold his own religion.

As the head of the Alaska National Guard, Sarah Palin is definitely more qualified to help run this country, especially while we're still technically in a state of war, than Obama.

  10. It shows where we're at as a nation.

And actually the supporters are scarier, if that's possible. The VAST majority of which fall into two camps:

I ThInkz WE KNEED DiVerSETI AND CUZ HE HAZ A NICE SMILE

    or

He's a PATRIOT! GOD BLESS AMERICA! Oh, and I love apple pie.

  11. Scary?  Not really.

  12. Scary? Americans don't scare easy.  Look at our history.

  13. I think that Obama is going to win. He's also going to help the nation tons more than McCain ever would. Just listen to his speeches and try to make one better that his. This is a change that will take a huge part in history of America.

    The first black president.

I think it's kind of phenominal that our country has chosen the first black president after eight horrible years of Bush. He was frightening to tell the truth. But not the worst.

If you prefer McCain, that's fine with me.

You're a republican. That's expected for a republican to pick a republican for president. But even republicans are voting for Obama.

Did you see that commercial that McCain made? It was a stupid, idiotic, desperate and disgusting try on getting people to hate Obama.

He compared Obama to Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.

The Hilton family is sponsoring McCain. How stupid is that?

I think, in my opinion that the best and smartest choice for our country is Obama. Period.

And by the way, Obama has not made any idiotic commercials like McCain has he?

McCain likes the rich more than the poor and gives them more money. Obama will try his hardest to get the people off of the streets.

This is what our nation needs.

But from what I'm seeing now, not what it deserves...

  14. the day Obama was sworn in to the state senate Palin had been an elected official for 5 years.

voting present 90% of the time isnt called experience its called an empty suit.

going against your own party to clean up the corruption, taking out an incumbent party governor that is from your own party is unheard of and Obama hasnt won ONE SINGLE CONTESTED RACE.

palin took a job as a oil and gas regulator and found corruption.  she was to be fined and fired due to the fact that the people in the oil business were tied with the state senators and reps.  she made them step down from their positions ran against the people who were backing the corruption and won.  THATS REAL CHANGE

as Hillary clinton says not "a speech in 2002"

    facts speak for them selves

  15. It might be, if it were true.  No matter how you spin it, it isn't true though.

  16. i think it's scary that woman was chosen because she is a young woman, a not because of what she has done.

  17. Yes, even more so that soooooooooooo many people can't see it.

  18. My daughter has more experience thn Obama. She'll be class president yet...

  19. maybe we need someone with little experience. he sure as h**l couldn't do any worse than what we have now.

  20. It would only be scary to democrats

  21. no more scary than you believe karl rove politics

  22. What does she have more experience doing? Giving birth?  She was mayor of a tiny town for a while and has been Governor for about 6 months.  Obama, aside from being head of the Harvard Law Review, was a community organizer, a State Legislator, and is now a Washington legislator.  How does that make her more experienced.

Of course he was never runner up for Miss Alaska in 1989, or head of the local PTA, but I don;t think we should hold that against him.

  23. She doesn't you imbecile!! Learn your facts before you start  running your mouth. That's why everybody on the news keep saying she is a risky choice because one of McBush's advantages was that Obama was so inexperienced but now that he has chosen a vp that is less experienced then him he can't really say anything.

  24. It's not surprising.

Democrats tend to make decisions with emotions rather than facts and logic.

  25. Well, Democrat leaders picked Obama. It was not a coincidence  that the nomination was on the anniversary of MLK's speech.

Last year democrat leaders picked the anniversary date. Democrat leaders also handpicked superdelegates.

Miko: Obama accomplished nothing. His name was added to bills to make it look like he accomplished something.

From the article: Barack Obama and Me

"Jones appointed Obama sponsor of virtually every high-profile piece of legislation, angering many rank-and-file state legislators who had more seniority than Obama and had spent years championing the bills. .. During his seventh and final year in the state Senate, Obama's stats soared. He sponsored a whopping 26 bills passed into law — including many he now cites in his presidential campaign when attacked as inexperienced. ...

It was a stunning achievement that started him on the path of national politics — and he couldn't have done it without Jones. ... Before Obama ran for U.S. Senate in 2004, he was virtually unknown even in his own state. Polls showed fewer than 20 percent of Illinois voters had ever heard of Barack Obama."

  26. The reason the democrats picked Obama is unfortunately because he looks better on the newspaper pictures than Hillary does.  I know this is sad.  Every paper I picked up today, including my local college newspaper had a huge image of Obama.  I'm not that crazy about Sarah Palin.  I wish McCain had picked Lieberman or Romney, but I do agree that Palin actually did things for 2 years while Obama entered Congress, sat there for 143 days, that's less than a year,  and then started running for president.

  27. She absolutely does NOT have more experience. Before being the governor all she did was be a journalist. Obama has actually passed legislation in the senate among numerous other things. That is absolutely ridiculous and just more lies from the GOP.

  28. You won't hear that on CNBC, that's for sure, or from any democrats for that matter.

Truth is, it's debatable whether either of the VP picks was the best choice.

  29. Not only that but we'll find out if the gender card is stronger than the race card.

  30. Yes it is.  What she has is executive experience.  Even though Obama has been in the legislature he has not run a city or a state.  She has done both and can say she at least has executive experience.

  31. Well my opinion is that America doesn't need ANOTHER republican, our country has suffer too much cause of that Bush maniac
