  1. I am quite happy to comment.

I have never seen such an incredible collapse of an international team. I mean they played poorly in the first half but spectaularily collapsed after the break.

This next part is not bitter just analytical. Wales were poor too and would not have won if England had not gone AWOL. They did not play much better in second half England just inexplicably gave the game away.

Don't get me wrong the Welsh should be celebrating big style because they have got the points in the table and that's what matters. BUT if England had not collapsed they would not, they did not play themselves out of their problem.

A victory should be celebrated, but can anyone honestly say on here that if Wales play for the rest of the championship in the same way that they will seriously challenge an impressive looking France.

Celebrations over I am sure that Gatland, Howley and Edwards  will have a lot to say behind closed doors to the team. How many times were they turned over in the first half, lost line out etc by a poor England team.

Wales should be chuffed with the points but need to be realistic about their own poor play, there is a lot of work between now and Saturday.

The good news is that they have 75% of the next games at home so that is a bonus and that includes a visit from France.

A good effort on Saturday and playing like they are capable with the talent in the team will convince me a bit more that they are contenders but based on Saturday - no.

As an aside James Hook was brilliant and by far head and shoulders above any other player on the park - what an enormous talent and getting better every game.

England however have got massive massive problems. The experienced players that Ashton insisted were to be kept to maintain balance were atrocious. Gomersal, Wilko, Regan were rubbish by their standards. It was like a re-run of the opening 2007 world cup game - god help us.

The bit that makes me laugh as well is how nasty people on here are about things and how much they love slating the English. I agree don't live in the past with the old glories but at least English fans can say they have won world cups in both the football and the rugby, so maybe it's jealousy from those that have not.
