Just because you are homophobic does not mean everyone is.  To most it does not matter, and his personal life is his business and has nothing to do with his accomplishments.  I don't happen to think he is, but if he is I would have no problem with that.  He is an awesome swimmer and genuinely nice person and conducts himself well, as does his team.
