  1. I watched it. Couldn't believe I missed the original broadcast. I don't agree with him on the basis that he contends the human psyche requires religion. This has never been demonstrated. He does believe religion needs to be throughly investigated from a scientific POV and that world religion AS A SUBJECT, needs to be taught in school. Something I do agree with.

  2. Interesting ideas, but I was bored after awhile and found too many assumptions that just didn't make sense.  I understand that many people just DON'T GET IT.  They don't have a mystical side and if they want to be agnostics or atheists that's fine with me - I won't be chasing them with a bucket of holy water.  But I feel sad for those who never experience spiritual energy (just like I feel sad for sightless folks who will never see a sunset).

EDIT:  Has it ever occured to you that the high-tech world around us has programmed our thinking?  It is not only illusion, but it is goofy.  Religion can also be goofy and the things I believe are mostly things I learned the hard way and not the things I was taught to believe as a child.

I also believe that we are constantly making our own reality.  We do things by trial and error.  Sometimes seemingly oppositional points of view both contain some truth.  I have also (on occasion) experienced things which I know to be impossible, but I tend to trust my own first-hand observations.

  3. interesting...I'll watch it
