  1. WE HAD WHAT WAS COMING TO US????? you're saying we deserved to have two nutcases kill tons of people by flying 2 planes into two of the biggest buildings in one of the biggest cities in the country and causing havoc for weeks.  Are you out of your F*ck1ng mind

  2. This is a heavy question. Some people (pastors too) always try to find someone to "blame" for whatever happens-good or bad. The enemy will usually tell you why. In this case it is just Islam. Islam has been a serious problem in the world since Mohammed made it up. Do some reading on the Moors and Spain. If you are Moslem and convert to any other religion they will try to kill you. I met a female doctor that escaped from Iran, she had a death sentence on her for converting to the Bahai faith. Islam is evil-there is no other way to say it-convert or die seems to be their motto. They want to take over the whole world-by force-if necessary. Everyone who does not believe as they do is described as an"infidel".They cannot accept the idea that the world IS NOT going to go their way.Murder and violence is their way of dealing with anything or anyone who isn't them.

  3. Nobody I know has ever thought that.  What happened on

9-11 happened because a group of radical terrorists decided that they hate America and wanted to destroy us.

  4. America has her faults for sure but no one ever deserves to die like that.  Sad that anyone could think so.

  5. not really true. They weren't "americans" who died on that day, they were people. You would have to be a bit of a scum to say they deserved that, being forced to burn alive or to jump out of windows...

  6. Well, that's a pretty flippant way to look at it, similar to someone shooting a toddler in the head because of a disagreement that they had with the child's parent. Does that seem right to you? Not such a far fetched analogy either - there were children on those planes when they hit the towers. Most were under 5 years old, the youngest victims were just 2. What did they do exactly that they got what was coming to them? How are the people that died any different from you? Why do you "deserve" to live? What did they do to deserve to die other than being born/living in the US?

Attacking someone while they, a non-combatant, are at work is cowardly. Again, it is just killing a weak or unsuspecting opponent/child because it is easer than attacking someone who can fight back. What point does that prove, what wrong does picking a fight with someone who has not harmed you right exactly?

People think many inaccurate thing influenced by schadenfreude.

No it isn't true, and repeating it Ad nauseum does not make it so. If that were true there would be a long line of people waiting to fly planes into civilians worldwide, because most European countries are just as guilty of what they blame the US for. Who carved up the middle East and Africa in search of oil in the first place? Who subjugated most of the people there and subverted their governments, renamed their countries? It wasn't the US.

Read some history prior to US superpower status and then let me know who "deserves it".

Ministers and preachers alike have a duty not to teach hate and perpetuate violence. Dr King and Gandhi certainly didn't.

  7. I have never heard that.  Osama bin Laden had no idea that the towers would fall when he sent the planes in.  White Ministers, oh please.  What are your examples of that?

  8. ministers are like used car salesman.just let it go in one ear                           and out the other, your better off that way

  9. According to the people that carried out the attacks yes America got what it deserved.

In my own opinion I could never condone the mass murder of over 2000 people. Although America did the same atrocity over Nagasaki and Hisroshima. It's hard to say, very tough question. I think the main reason is Western presence in the East. They just don't want us there plain and simple. They want us out of their affairs. Which is understandable, i mean the East does not get involved in our affairs do they.

Lets say if we had a spat with Canada, i doubt any Eastern countries would get involved.

  10. I am no great lover of American foreign policy but that day my heart went out to all the innocent people in the planes and the towers. It still brings a chill remembering their terrible fate and the nature of their untimely deaths. This was not a military target. These were not the people who make the decisions that year in year out seek to undermine and destabilise other countries and demonise people because of their religion.

I can't say I was surprised when the Bush administration went on to squander the huge outpouring of global sympathy that ensued.Indeed it relished the opportunity to throw itself wholeheartedly in to the crusade against Islam and made matters ten times worse.

So in answer to your question.Americans didn't deserve it but ,what with their Governments dangerous meddling in other countries, it was inevitable there would be payback some day from the 'meddled with'.You can't keep ******** on others and not expect a response.

What was sadly lacking in the days that followed was any kind of soul searching as to why someone was this angry with them.Anger has to stem from somewhere.

    Brave question.

  11. None of those people deserved to die. America did NOT deserve that. But i think i know what you are trying to say. But you just said it very offensively....

  12. why are you putting so much value in what ministers say? They also say if you committ suicide you go straight to h**l.  That's total BS, considering you have a mental illness.

  13. Yes, it's true, but don't say it or you'll likely go to jail knowing this "free" country...lol

I love how people in this country think it's ok to kill tens of thousands of civilians, as long as you use military equipment and not airplanes.  Just because people don't spend more money on their military than their healthcare and education combined doesnt' automatically make them wrong.

  14. There are so many different views on this controversial issue...if white ministers are saying that, then they are probably placing blame on the homosexuals and other "immoral" behavior in America, saying that God has struck the country (especially for the separation of church and state).  I can remember MANY instances of these fundamentalist Christian preachers placing such blame on immoral behavior when catastrophes hit - such as Hurricane Katrina.  They tend to want to instill fear into the people to drive them away from such immoral behavior (with the threat of God striking society with such disasters as a form of punishment).

If liberal ministers are preaching this, their reasoning is that America has put the middle east in a very bad place economically, and American foreign policy (especially with the support of Israel) has led to anti-American sentiments throughout the middle east with Islamic terrorism.  So they tend to blame the government.

I personally don't agree with either points of view...though at least the latter one at least holds some credibility.

  15. The fact America has begun to appear arrogant through use of force against weak targets and was so used to having it's own way for so longit came as a shock it was not invincible. The problem with the thinking America got what was coming to it is that there is something America could do fix this which could be to add to The Bill Of Rights The Right to Peace for it's citizens. This right the citizens could then use to stop Resource Wars. The other thing which could be done is for a right of all citizens to own Earth and the resources on it together with right of each country to own their own resources without fear of attack. The other idea is for all citizens to own the resources of Earth without fear of war which might take it from them. The next The Right for Protection of The Environment, The Right to an Unpolluted Environment, The Right to a world without man accelerated Global Warming. This may answer both parts of the question.

  16. i think the americans are way to cocky.

they believe they own the world and we have to stop them!!

  17. So you are saying that America did something that would justify murdering our citizens?  OK...I'd like to hear what that is.

In the arguements put forward, America "deserves" to have its people murdered because:

    - We support Israel

    - We kill Muslim peoples

    - We are greedy/corrupt/degenerate

Frankly, I have never seen ANY law in any country that would justify murder because somebody else did something wrong.  I didn't like your backing the Shah in Iran...so I'll take your citizens hostage for a few years.  I didn't like that you recognized Israel, so I'll blow up your embassy.

These are groups of people who are violent authoritarians and who justify themselves based on what a government did.

    I can't see it.
