Isn't "Without a Neck2Neck battle" IPL - just nothing or loss it's starting hype??

Do you think that a close battle~tensed 40overs is everything & essential between each team in every day of IPL, otherwise "so-marketting potential " will disappear .

    as the tournament progresses, tight contests will definately come

  4. The great thing about T20s is it makes it MORE likely to have a close game, by reducing the overs it brings the teams closer together

  5. Many players are playing it first time. Compare response to ODI's in India before 1983. You have to wait and see something unexpected & exciting to happen - may a win by the most unexpected team, or a very good performance from a newcomer unknown player.

    And then more people would turn to these matches. I think people would move away from Tests & ODI's to 20-20 as these are small duration involvement & enjoyment.

    I would suggest - wait & watch.

  9. Both the matches today, especially the match between Bombay Indian and Royal Challengers, Bangalore were of close finish.
