Isn't "on the job training" way too risky as President, but acceptable as Vice President?

The idea of a President with 143 days of senate experience is scary. Can we afford electing a guy with so little experience, who voted "present" over 50% of the time when he did show up for work?

Sarah Palin has executive experience, she leads the Alaska National Guard, and she will help bring change to Washington. Her "inexperience" is acceptable in my opinon because she will be working in the background as Vice President. And she has MORE executive experience than both Obama & Biden, neither have any executive experience.

A vote for Obama guarantees a President with very little experience and no executive experience.

Yes, especially when the VP pick has more executive experience than the other VP candidate, and both men at the top of their tickets, combined!

Obama cannot even compete with Sarah Palin's executive experience, much less McCain's military and senate experience.

Thank you!  You've managed to put in words, succinctly, what I've been feeling.  Everyone asks if Palin is ready on foreign policy if McCain dies in office.  But I assume he probably won't die on January 22.  She will pick up the foreign policy stuff in time.  Contrast to the Democratic side, where the inexperience is at THE TOP of the ticket....and while nobody reasonable would hope for Obama to die, one would almost hope that something would happen to make him resign, just so you could get to the EXPERIENCE on his ticket!

Yes.

She has held elected office for 13 years, Obama 11. He voted present many many times while a senator.

She held executive office of the largest state in the nation...cleaned house...got stuff done, didn't sit around hoping for the change of the hope of the change...

Palin at least has been upfront about everything. Not so much with Obama. She did not hide her daughter...where is Barry's family other than Michelle and girls?
