Question:

Isn't the New Yorker cartoon about as satirical as a swatiska painted on a synagogue?

It is not clever satire, not intelligent and witty. No, it is more like a swatiska painted on a synagogue. A modern hate crime. Admit it.

Stop justifying this monstrosity! It just points to the source and who has an axe to grind. Nobody is buying your thick, pathetic excuse and then, worse yet, the attempt to blame the anti-Obama voters. OMG! Just arrogant, egotisical and downright criminal. You can run but you cannot hide.

  1. You're right there, that's a very good analogy. It was a clumsy attempt at satire that has backfired in a big way. Or then again, perhaps it will gain the magazine readers, proving the old adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

I'd prefer to think that subscribers will cancel in droves and the editor will be sacked for such a gross lapse in professionalism. All those involved in perpetrating this travesty of journalism should hang their heads in shame.
