Isn't the quote "Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing" stupid?

if winning is the ONLY thing, there would be nothing else, therefore by set theory, it WOULD be everything.

and if winning ISN'T everything, then there must be something else, therefore it wouldn't be ONLY thing.

No. The two sentences are to be taken togetherand they mean exactly what you say.

It is only when you separate the  two that you have the contradictions.

There is no point in calling it "stupid" as it can be some other person's view, and as such, is a valid human opinion, to be as respected as  your own.

for me winning isnt always about winning..sometimes we need to lose in order to win.
