In the old days, the news department was carefully kept separate from the advertising and editorial department. In broadcast tv news that is obviously not the case. Those days are gone and the "news" business wants all messages to pass for fair, factual news because that is what sells best. Unbalanced "news" stories and graphics can make a huge difference in who is nominated and who is elected.Do you see things differently? Does the media seem balanced and advertising never mixes with news? Sure smells fishy to millions of people I hear.
