  1. only with parental permission

  2. In the United States, all but two states require  a couple be age 18 in order to marry without parental consent. Nebraska sets the age at 19 and Mississippi at 21 at the time of this writing (May 2003). A few states will waive this requirement if there is a pregnancy involved, but the couple may still have to have court approval.

I only saw one or two states with an age as low as 14, but I didn't read them all.  I don't think 12 is legal in any of them unless the court might approve a special case for some reason.

  3. i think 14 is the youngest with parental consent or an emancipated teen

idk maybe in utah or something

  4. You have to get your parents permission to get married if you are under 18. I am not sure if you can at 12 but I know you can at 15.  They have to sign papers stating its ok.  I don't think anyone should get married so young though.  You have plenty of time to get married.  There is no need to rush it.

  5. Oh Dear God, I certainly hope not....

  6. I have never heard that a 12 year-old can legally get married in any state, although I suppose it would be legal if the guardians or parents of the children signed a document that said they could do it.  I think the issue arises because a 12 year-old is not considered an adult and therefore cannot enter into legally binding agreements (such as a marriage) without parental permission.  I could be wrong though, but I don't really see how it would be possible for a person so young to get married on their own.

  7. I hope not!!

  8. there are states that will let a minor get married but only if they have a child and they have to appeal to a judge to find out if its allowed...

the youngest though that i have heard of is 15..
