Isn't this SAD?!?!?!?

Question

Last night I was watching extraordinary animals on animal planet and it was about griffin the african grey parrot. I've been doing a lot of research about parrots because I want to be a vet to exotic animals like parrots and reptiles.

It was so sad they had this really smart parrot and didn't even have toys in his cage or bother to fix his feathers they just wanted to see how smart he was. They also showed a scene about alex another parrot that they trained and he had hardly any tail feathers or chest feathers.

WHY!?!?!? It makes me SO MAD!

The birds need to go to the humane society or peta, or something like that. Some people are just sick and do bad things.

What's also sad is they don't have laws protecting birds.

I saw it last night too. It made me sad and angry. Birds pluck when they are bored, they are lacking in their diet, or they are stressed out. I cannot believe they were willing to let people see the condition of the bird. I was horrified. I also thought the cage they put him in at the end looked  a little small. i don'y like to pass judgement because I don't know the whole story, but it did and does concern me.

They don't care about the poor bird, they just want to use it to show off.
