  1. well sure on here you can say pretty much anything... but if you had something to say and you wanted to shout it out for all to hear it would be something different. your freedom is where "they" allow you to have it.... some people think that because they can go online (here for example) and say what they want to random people that thats freedom... try bringing what your asking on here to some well know buisy street, the whitehouse... lol... yeah I'm sure they would love you to be out on there doorstep saying what people say on here.... you wouldnt last to long... so here is your freedom to ask and say how you feel... huge difference from here and for real!

  2. No, it's not.

  3. Very reminiscent of the 60's and the anti-war activists and police response to them..................minus the Taser of course.

Actually, his question went from making a statement, into a confrontation, when he refused to permit the question to be addressed by the speaker.

He passed into disorderly conduct in public, when he refused to allow them to escort him out, after cutting the microphone.

Yes, it's a very, very thin line, but disorderly conduct can easily escalate into riots, especially with large crowds.

The Police acted improperly by not taking him all the way outside or the outer lobby, before attempting to restrain him.

The point is, he had the "opportunity" to ask a question, responsibly and he didn't.

So no, I don't see this as a suppression of "freedom of speech" as much as a public display.

  4. are you kidding?

you can come on here and say any old outlandish thing you want....just read some of the "questions"

this, in my opinion, is a terrible flaw with free speech.  but better to have it than not.
