Question:

Isn't this another chance for Democrats to blame Bush for hurricane in New Orleans?

Now, they have no excuse. Big hurricane rushing toward New Orleans. It won't be there until Tuesday. If you are still in N.O. when disaster strikes it is YOUR fault, not the President's fault! It is only Saturday morning, should you get out or shut up?

  1. I agree, they have had ample warning. And isn't it up to the local governments to make sure proper evacuation plans are met?

  2. Democrats don't blame Bush for the hurricane.  Democrats blame him for the disastrously uncoordinated and inept response by Bush's FEMA.  As well they should.

  3. No one ever blamed Bush for Katrina, just his actions, or lack of,  after it. This will be another test if this hurricane does hit New Orleans. FEMA has had just as much notice.

  4. I'm tired of all these, 'he didn't send enough relief' whiners.  If you choose to sit around for the hurricane, why should my money be wasted on helping you?  There are plenty of intelligent people that LEAVE before a hurricane hits.  I can understand people having issue with some of the criminal insurance companies...but that is an issue for the courts which Bush is not a part of.  I'm just against placing blame on someone just because you dislike him.  Bush didn't force people to stay, cheat them out of what belongs to them, or instruct the courts to protect the insurance companies.

  5. If he takes his sweet time sending aid.

  6. The last thing we need is another Katrina.  Elect Obama.  The Bush/McCain campaign is another disaster waiting to happen.

  7. He took the money that should have been used to repair levees & said we didn't have it. If your child died in Katrina & you knew that you would blame him. If you saw him with McCain smiling over his birthday cake knowing while that picture was being taken your parents were drowning to death & he was doing nothing you would blame him for not being compassionate if nothing else.

  8. Yes but not this one.  Evacuations have all ready begun, the national Guard is all ready activated, trucks of relief supplies and water Buffalo's are ready to roll.  I think everyone learned a lot about preparedness after the Katerina response (or lack of it).

  9. It was not the Presidents fault the first time a hurricane came through. He has zero control over the weather or its forecasters. He can take blame though for not having competent people under him to respond to hurricanes correctly. We shouldn't have to see Sean Penn down there on small outboard engine boat attempting to rescue people. Really makes our country look bad.
