It reminds me of that Arnie film where pets were cloned and sold as Re-pets. 6th Day or 5th day or something?

  1. It is down right frankestein. It is already known that cloned animals are unhealthy, and when they breed they produce  unhealthy offspring, because the cloning process causes faults in the gene structure. It also leads us into thinking that life isn't special, because we simply become products that can be replicated. "Never mind about poor Fred, you can always have another one".

Again, it is arrogant scientists playing God. What about the law of unintended consequences? The gene pool would be destroyed by cloning, because it is the ultimate in inter-breeding.

  2. Well if they can do that then why dont they clone animals that are soon to become extinct so they wont be extinct.

  3. It is not only creepy, it is scary!

Science and progress is one thing but to use it in this way is morally and ethically wrong.

What next? cloning deceased parents, children and friends?
