  1. Yes, it's stealing.

  2. TOTALLY but she will have her day.  It always comes around!!!!

  3. That's totally stealing. I don't care if she saw the money. I would try and talk to someone who knows both girls. If this happened at work talk to the manager.

  4. Yes that's stealing... Mary is a greedy lady.

  5. Most definitely stealing..........................Mary should show a little class abd return to Jane.

  6. yes it is

  7. You are absolutely correct -- it is stealing.

  8. I guess you never read the Bible. There is a section loosely interpreted as "finders keepers..losers weepers."  Mary is an innocent finder and should be commended for having the decency to pick up after other careless people.

  9. It is being dishonest.. not actual stealing as she doesn't take it out of her purse.. but she is dishonest.. she does not tell Jane that she dropped $40 dollars which would be the right thing to do.. so I call Mary dishonest for keeping the money.. I don't call her an actual thief.... but it's a bad character trait.. definitely...

  10. Of course that is stealing.  She seen the person drop it, that's wrong because you know who it belongs to, now if you just seen the money on the floor and didn't know who it belonged to then that's different.

  11. Yes, that is stealing.

  12. Yes, that is stealing.  Mary will have bad karma for this.

  13. Yes it is. Mary should have returned the $40.

  14. If she sees someone drop it and keeps it then yes it is stealing.

  15. My opinion is that if you know who it belongs to, it's stealing. If you don't know, it might not be. (?) Just my two cents.

  16. Yes, it is stealing because she has seen who the owner is and should have been honest enough to call back this Jane person and give her her money back.

Well, we do not live in a perfect world. Let's just hope that this Mary will not drop some of her money when she needs it the most........t*t for tat...maybe she'll realize that her action really was dishonest and...dishonesty  NEVER pays in the end.

Even if she found the money in a public place, she should have given it back to the rightful owner.

    Hope this helps.

  17. Yes it is.  It was not hers and she had a chance to return it.

  18. Mary is a bum, right?

  19. Yes its steeling and the right thing to do is to tell the person that dropped it and give it to them.

  20. did that really happen.how do you know the amount.did you pick it up.and now want to know how to handle it.i dont exactly know if it could be called stealing.but im sure the right thing to do.would be to return it.you may even get a reward.or the person who found it may get a reward.either way it should have been returned.good question.

  21. No, it is not stealing in the legal sense. Stealing is taking without permission. Keeping the money would be unethical but not legally stealing.

  22. no matter what it is, if you know how to get in contact with that person and if you know WHo it belongs to and choose not to return it like a generous person would, then yes thats stealing. however if Mary just saw 40 bucks laying on the ground and nobody looked like they dropped it, then feel free to take it

  23. no its not, you snooze you lose, idiot needs to be taught the value of money, and learn to be responsible enuff not to be dropping it everywhere

  24. Yes it is stealing

  25. it is ....................no question
