They are distance runners, all of them. They prattle on about events they no little about. Wheres a sprint commentator, or a throws commentator. There views are prehistoric and badly researched. Even the other day Cram asked in his comentry if it was the moment wariner was going to get the 400m world record, and yet Merrit has been wooping his *** all year.

Johnothan Edwards holds it all together.

  1. Oh for heavens sake - stop moaning. They all do a great job.

At least Steve Cram can get all the names of the runners right, and pronounce them properly too. I would like to see all the critics try it.

It is very easy to sit in an armchair looking for mistakes. Just for a change try to spot something positve.

  2. They cant be any worse than our Channel 7 commentators and the serious back-tracking they did today whilst interviewing Steve Hooker, winner of the gold in men's pole vault. They should have been there.

What I would like to know is if the Aussie commentators can't keep track of one gold medal a day to show live then how do the US and Chinese media cope with all the medals they win?

  3. i agree.and why did the bbc have to send over 400 personnel there?.....using my hard earned money, they could do all the commentating from the bbc here in the uk....what awaste of money..sorry , i know its not what you asked but it really ****** me off
