Even then we're biased because we're looking at ourselves. The mirror distorts our image and makes us look like who we want to look, and that's why sometimes we look like fools in real life.

That is weird. Sometimes I think about if mirrors distort the images and make them different because it's hard for me to accept what I see sometimes when I look. It makes me wonder what I would think of myself if I was looking from someone else's point of view. :)

Good point. Maybe that is why we can never understand our selves fully.  And why our whole self portrait can never be subjective, or based on our thoughts.  Perhaps the sum of self is based on every ones interaction with us that is the best complete picture of self.
