  1. The WWE is lame now. Thats why all the die hard WWF fans are all flocking to MMA. WWE is like watching Nickelodeon.

  2. I liek the wwe. it is what it is. entertainment. why do they need to compete, I do not understamd that at all

  3. Here we go again with all the little retards bashing pro-wrestling...on a martial arts webpage.  You wouldn't last a day at a pro-wrestling training camp or an MMA training camp.  Anybody who thinks the wrestling business is populated by soft people is either ignorant, deluded, stupid or some combination of all three.

    It's apples and oranges anyway.

You want reality?  Jesse Ventura was a Navy SEAL in Vietnam, somehow I don't think they would going to let him use any of that training in wrestling ring or an MMA fight.

  4. h**l yea it is. Ufc is real. Wwe are fairies in tights. And to all the people who still think its real type in google proof wwe is fake and bawl ur eyes out. Show some appreciation for real fighters and real compition.

  5. Of COURSE!!!! UFC is real fighting it is a legit sport. The WWE is pathetic and cheesy acting. Anyone would rather watch a real fight with two amazing athletes than some juiced wannabe actor body building tool.

  6. You can't even compare the two.  They have nothing in common.  Not even the same thing.  Not even close.

  7. yes the WWE does suck right now and the UFC is far more exciting i only hope it gets better from here

  8. I agree with Phil J that it is what it is. The WWE makes no pretense about what they do being scripted. That's why they call it sports entertainment.

I also agree that all of you little MMA wanna be's would not last a day in a wrestling training camp. One thing you all fail to realize is that yes, things are scripted, but their bodies still take a huge amount of abuse. Lets see you take slams or suplexes off the top rope or on a padded concrete floor repeatedly. there are consistantly injuries in WWE, real ones, because of some of the stuff these guy's do. Have you got enough guts to jump of a 15 foot steel cage and crash through a guy laying on a table? Quuite honestly many of the people in the WWE actually have martial arts training, and some have a good ameture wrestling background, and if they decided to train for it, would probably do quite well in MMA competition. I don't blame them for not doing it, considering the pay difference between the two.

I like the WWE when I want to yell at the screen and boo the bad guy. I like the UFC when I want to see a real fighting sport. I like boxing when I want to see some very good techniqual skills.

As for the UFC kicking the WWE's A**, I would hazard a guess that considering the number of WWE video games, merchendise, and the fact that almost everyone in America can probably name at least 1 pro wrestler, that the UFC has a long way to go in that respect, at least as far as mass appeal. One thing that the WWE has in it's favor is everyone knows it's fake, where many people who do not like violence will not watch the UFC. Maybe that's why the WWE has 3 weekly shows on Major networks, so no I wouldn't say that the UFC is kicking a** in that respect either.

Quite honestly the WWE is more entertaining to me then the UFC many times. Maybe not more real, but more entertaining.
