Isnt the most annoying thing to say 'I dont mind'

Question

soooo annoying right? when ur gonig somewhere or arranging something and u ask everyones preferance and they just say 'i dont mind'

Well how on earth are u supposed to decide if everyone just doesnt mind!!!! my BF as in boyfriend and best friend do it all the time when were out and i gotta decide what to do in the end....

when the truth is, i dont really mind lol =P ]

I THINK I WOULD LIKE DESIDING WERE ME N MY HUBBY GO ALL THE TIME BUT WE FLIP A COIN ,NOW AFTER 35 YEARS  OF MARRIAGE,,PEACE

Dont know about your bf or your nature.

But for me if I decide anything that will be the start point of new argument with my girlfriend. I believe in "peace is better than comfort" so "I DONT MIND" whatever she decides.

you can fix that easy

next time they say they dont mind

take them to the most boring place you can think of

when they start moaning

say "i thought you said you didnt mind?"

that's not the part I find annoying, the part that gets to me is when I take control and then get shouted down for being a control freak and telling him what to do all the time.

When we go out to dinner or something, my wife always asks me where I want to go. I always tell her to pick. I do that to make her happy.  I believe it shows a lack of selfishness on my part as well as a sense of caring for her more than myself, which I do. Occasionally she'll throw it back at me and I'll suggest a place and we'll go from there.

If you feel overwhelmed at the idea of making a group decision, ask for suggestions from the others.  That usually helps to keep everyone happy.

I think that when they ask for my opinion is more annoying than me saying I don't mind.

It really makes me lose my mind. its like YOU have to decide everything. Then you decide and they say "hm, i dont want that afterall.." . Pfft :)
