health of the atheletes.....and surely the IOC could ahve taken this into accout when annoucing beijing as the next olympic city host.....please share your views...eevrytime i see it i just think "how horrible, all that pollution" and im not very big on environmental issues, i mean i respect them and do whatever i can, but its not a big thing in my life .....hmmmmm they said on the news that a typical day in Melbourne Australia produces 30 somethings per micrograms of pollution and in beijing it was 600 per microgram, thats massive!!!!!!!!! so bad!! why is it so bad in china??? is the ecconomy??? coz its so huge??

  1. **I think it looks terrible and can't imagine how bad it must be for the health of people who live there.  It's really sad to because on a clear day in Beijing the city actually looks nice but you can't see it most of the time because of the haze.

    There seems to be such a big deal made about climate change etc in Australia but if they look at Beijing they've got nothing to worry about.**
