Isnt this considered cheating?

my boyfriend tried to give me the answers to my homework but i said no. i told him it was cheating but he wont believe. but isnt called cheating

Yah thats cheating, your supposed to do it yourself and remember how will you learn if you don't do it yourself but I understand how tempting it can be to cheat but since you said no it must mean that you didn't want to and that's the way to go :)

I would take them, but I wouldn't look.  I'd do the homework myself and then compare my answers to his.  That way, you're CHECKING your work, not cheating.  Only problem with that is that he doesn't sound too bright, so he might not have gotten them right.

Yeah, it probably is considered cheating, but who cares? As long as you don't copy the answers to all of your assignments, you're fine.

If you are given the answers without working them out for yourself then yes it is cheating.

If he gives you the answers, then yes, that is cheating. After you all, you did not do the work you were supposed to do.

Copying is cheating. However, if you are going over your individual answers together and comparing them, or if you are working on the homework together, then it is just plain helping each other out. Anytime one person does the work and the other doesn't, it is cheating. Plain and simple.
