Isnt this funny about Gas...?

That all of a sudden I am seeing how all of these gas companies are all of a sudden Tree Huggers and care deeply about the environment, and have a heart, and care about us and making things better...YET, I am still paying 3.39 and people are paying up to 3.60 something....I dont get it?

Gas is really quite cheap in the US. I really don't see your connection between the price of oil and the current environmentalism fad. Supply and demand really have nothing to do with environmentalism.

I drive about 70 miles a day now. I spend about $35 to fill up every 5 days or so. I carpool with someone so I end up paying less than half that myself. Really, even if it were double or triple, it wouldn't be unafforable. Use a car that's reasonable for your needs, with the best mileage possible, and be more creative.
