i do my shopping online due to working long anti social hours and find it hard to fit in time to go for a monthly shop plus i do not have a car so it's pretty much a time consuming task and sort online shopping to help with this.

I live in a 2nd floor flat and have found there are different attitudes amoungst delivery people.

Few deliver my shopping to the door , and some however do not and dumo my shopping at the comunal door downstairs in boxes , resulting in me having to go down and get it . Not that im being lazy or a moan but isnt it part of the delivery charge that your shopping is delivered direct to your door? I dont mind helping out , but i feel dumping it at comunal door is not good practice and bad for the company.Whats your views , has anyone else had this problem?

  1. well, presumably they mean your front door, as in from off the street that has public access, not one they need a key to get into... my sympathies..

  2. That is absolutely terrible company procedures! i think i would either write a note in the delivery sheet or make a formal complaint, you shopping should get delivered to your door for all they know you could be disabled or anything really!

  3. I agree that it should be delivered to your actual door. Have you complained to the company responsible?

Tesco claims they deliver to your fridge door!! I'd test them on that ;-)  x
