  1. 2= 3mn - 4m

    2= m(3n-4)

    2/(3n-4)=m

  2. 4m = 3mn - 2

    4m+2 = 3mn

    2 = 3mn-4m

    factor out an m on rightside

    2 = m(3n-4)

    divide both sides by 3n-4

    2/(3n-4) = m

  3. Divide everything by N

    (4M)/N=(3MN - 2)/N

    (4M)/N=3M - (2/N)

    Subtract 3M (from each side, DUH)

    (4M - 3M)/N= -2/N

    Multiply Everything by N

    M= -2

    I just realized I solved for M instead of isolating it! sorry
