  1. Because Rice is going to visit and the Israelis want to look good.

    It doesn't cost them anything.

  2. I suspect they will be arrested and never heard from again. It's okay though.

  3. Israel is sick of conflict. It is all they have had since the creation of the state... and while some of it is their fault and others are not... they are tired of conflict and are willing to give up a little to get peace

    I really hope this works

  4. Making still another attempt at peace. If only the Pro-Palestinian activists could talk some sense into the hateful Palestinians.

  5. Pretty heavy question for a horoscope expert. Danny B nailed it. For some time now, since Olmert was elected, Israel has been trying to get someone to play nice. Unfortunately, there is no hope it will work. The Middle Eastern Arab mind does not understand the concept of diplomacy as we in the West do. They see it as weakness, only weakness. This is bad enough. They also see it as victory on their part. Victory for Allah.

Edit 1: Anything the Israeli's do, expansion, contraction, etc.,  will always be construed as Zionist aggression. The Arab mind is sick with hatred. Nothing can reach through the fog of hate in order to reason with Arab leaders in that region of the world.
