When it's time for him to go, he will go. In any event, elections will serve as a referendum--which is the way it should be in a democracy.

hi in the  first place not only Olmert should resign  and get out,"Israel' in  the  first placeshould  get out of Palestine.I think it is enough they have been killing people for 50 years and occupying a land not theirs.if you get back to history you will find that they occupied this land just because of "Balfour promise " in  the excuse of religion.if you are not convinced I'm ready to answer your questions.if you are "Israeli " citizen i don't think you will be convinced . now to speak frankly Olmert of course should resign after the last war that "Israel" lost .he is the dumbest PM i have ever seen.he had taken the most ridiculous decisions in the Israeli history.So his party should exert pressure on him or else they will surely lose the next elections since Olmert lost the trust of his people.
