Israeli physical features

Question

How come Israeli people are lighter skinned than the rest of the middle east, alot have freckled skin.

e.g According to pictures Jesus was said to have light brown hair and blue eyes and he was from the middle east.

Can anyone give a descent explanation, NO bullshit answers please

interesting question, but keep in mind that israelis have immigrated back to the nation of israel after thousands of years exile.  they came from all corners of the world.

i think israeli women are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Hmm well I go to Israel at least once a year- I would say most Israelis DO  have dark skin, but I also agree that they aren't as dark as most other Middle Easterner's...

Maybe because Israel is a fairly new country and Israeli's were wandering from all around the world until they all settled down in Israel.

Also, a lot of people that live in Israel moved from other countries recently to make Aliyah (when a Jew moves to Israel).

Israelis are semites and arabs,look at that surrounding region even the muslims there have lighter skin.Its funny why these people hate it when others call them arabs infact they are arabs.

israeli people havent always lived in the middle east, most of them came from europe 60 years ago.
