Israeli women...?

What is the best Flat Iron (cermaic straightening iron) to buy in Israel to straighten hair? I use the Chi currently in the US but it doesn't work on an adaptor/transformer in Israel.

Any recommendations?

the same make you can find in israel, with the transformer suited for the israeli electricity current,just buy it in israel.

I wish someone had told me that before I went...I totally blew the voltage converter when I plugged my CHI in, and the room smelled like burnt toast all day long!!!

I've hear the coriolis (sp) is a good one, and you can buy it in the US before going to Israel, otherwise, any straightener that has a standard plug and not the power adapter type of plug will work.

before you buy from the states read on the back of any electrical device 50/60 HZ, 115/240 V, it will definitely work in the middle east.

I have a Hot Tools flat iron (ceramic) and it works here on a converter.

Babyliss is referred to as a curling iron, so I don't know if that would work for you.

I broght with me mine Vidal Sassoon flat iron an it didnt work here! I serioussly almost had a breakdown.. But my father brought a long a converter - thank god for that! you can buy coloriss or whatever its called.. ive noticed they sell babyliss alot here! like we say we use a curling iron to make curls - they say they use a babyliss to make curls. They dont even have another name for it.. haha. But go to any electric store and you will find a good one :) Good Luck!

It has to work in Israel.

Go into any electronic store in Israel and ask them for an adaptor, it costs 5 shekels and it works fine.

If you still wanna get one in Israel try Babyliss, I think they might have it in the Super Farm under the brand name "Life" or go to a professional salon store to get the best.
