Question:

Issues with intenet browser crashing?

Lately ive been having issues with my internet browser suddenly closing. When it closes, all instances of an internet browser close, including other tabs, windows, and downloads. But it doesnt come up with the typical win xp "this application had an error and needed to close, blah blah blah" message that comes up when anything else crashes. It usually happens when i use blackboard or load up most java based programs. Blackboard is basically a setting designed to hold online classes, so when it crashes i can lose an entire post ive been working on, and its annoying to have to keep relogging in. Is this a known issue that has a solution? Btw, its happening on both internet explorer 7 and firefox 3.

  1. Try a few other browsers and see what it's like with them.  Opera and Netscape may be better for you.

Or you can upgrade to Windows Vista.  You shouldn't have a problem then.
