  1. sell some items on ebay

  2. What is the issue with your camera?  Depending on the make, model and type, there might a be a low cost way of fixing the camera, instead of having to buy a new camera.

My company offers low cost repairs for several brands of digital cameras, mostly Canon.

  3. I know this isn't the kids advice forum, but you NEED to be honest with your parents.  For the most part(you know, I was no angel child..) I was honest with my parents and came to them when I had a problem or I messed up.  As I got older, they trusted me more and let me have more priviledges than most of my other friends because I was always honest with them and I listened to them(for the most part ;)).  Why not start a new habit like this now?  Maybe they can give you some chores and jobs to do to earn a new camera.

You're obviously too young to be selling items on ebay, so try selling them on craigslist.  Do some baby sitting, help others with odd jobs.

If you don't have time to do a lot of saving, you're better off bringing this problem to your parents.  They can probably help you with some negotiating.  There really isn't a quick way to get the money for a new camera, unfortunately :(

  4. Honestly, I'd tell your parents.  They'll figure it out.  If they haven't already.  Parents are typically smarter than you think.

Barring that, do odd jobs in your neighborhood - mowing lawns, babysitting, things like that.  Selling your stuff on eBay will work too.  However, any of these things will catch your parents' attention.  They'll find out eventually.  And they typically like it when kids fess up sooner than later.

  5. get a job in hooters

  6. well if your camera all of a sudden just broke and its not your fault, then tell them. and even if it was your fault, its fine people make mistakes. and just like everyone else said, your parents will understand. then take it in to..idk wherever they sell those and they'll easily fix it. for less money than getting a new one.

    hope this helps :)
