Issues with voicemail for a landline.?

Question

So, I got a new house phone about a year ago. I was never the one to mess with anything, my ex was. I moved to a new house, new number, but kept the same phone. Trouble is, my handset still constantly says, "New Voice Mail" on the display. I have no idea how to check it, erase it, anything. I've googled, looked at the manufacturers website...can't find anything.

Aforementioned phone is a Panasonic.

Model number is KX-TGA101S.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
