Question:

Isuzu rodeo95 2.6L replaced water pump&now turns but wont start. did I mess up timing belt or is my engine ?

engin shot? I had to take belts off to take out pump.

  1. if engine ran before timing belt was removed for water pump replacement then timing is now off.


  2. But did you take the timing belt off?  If you did, you may have lost engine timing.

    Be really careful getting that correct - get it wrong and you could destroy the engine.  You might want to take it to the shop instead.
