It's 12:40 and I can't sleep, can anyone give me suggestions? ?

It's too late for sleeping pills, I need to get up at a reasonable hour.

  1. Lay down get comfortable ...stretch your whole body then ake 4 or 5 deep breaths and listen to this with headphones if possible.

    while you are laying there only focus on your breath coming in your nose and out your mouth. It might be hard at first but just keep clearing your mind and focus on your breathing. hope it helps

  2. the quickest way for me to fall asleep is to drink cold water until I cant take anymore (usually a glass and a 1/2) then take a warm wash cloth put it over my eyes, and take deep breaths. hope it helps (i dont like taking sleep aids)

  3. For now, take some warm milk.

    Get yourself some vitamins called melatonin.  People swear by them.

    I don't know how old you are,  but a doctor can give you a prescription for ambien CR, Lunesta, Rozerem, or phenobarbital.
