So, basically it's two AM, and I've had these habits for a few weeks now. I know that school is starting soon, (I'm ten, and it's going to be my first day of Middle School) and I just keep tossing and turning. I've tried warm milk and honey, but it doesn't seem like it's doing anything for me. Any ideas?

  1. Turn off your computer now.  It can be hard to get back on a normal schedule after having several months off.  No tv, no computer, no video games.  Take a bath or shower, then get in bed.  Here's the hard part:  no matter when you fall asleep, you need to get up around 8:00.  You'll feel terrible tomorrow, but should be able to fall asleep normally.

    Good luck in Middle School.

  2. FISH DON'T BLINK, ANYWAY.

  3. you have to relax yourself. turn off the computer and lie down in bed. start from toes and make sure they are relaxed. then the sole of your foot. then your heels, then ankles then knees, and so forth untill you get to your head, just make sure every part of you is relaxed, including your ears mouth nose and eyes. and once you've done that, think of the thing you want most to be in life and pretend your it. think about all the little details. think about if you were married then or had kids or had a boyfriend/girlfriend who would it be? who would be there. just go over all the details. and make sure you wash your face in the morning, it will wake you up good.

  4. definitely don't wake up really late everyday like noon thats late if school is going to start soon start waking up super early.. (like around 8-9 I know its early but if school is going to start soon might as well get into the habit) then stay up do something active during the whole day, keep yourself active and don't take any naps during the day.. and by night you should be good and well enough tired.. that should definitely work, and also before bed, reading a book and no television,, because your mind is like spinning and all those stuff in tv is going to be going through your mind so just try that ! hope it helps (: schools starting soon for me too.

  5. Stay up all night, then fall asleep at 7 or 8pm. This will flip your schedule.

  6. At 8pm turn the computer off, stop watching tv and dont listen to any music or play video games.

Have a warm shower and get into bed.  Read a book that relaxes the mind, then at 9pm turn the lights out and lie down.  Clear your mind of all thought.  If you find this hard to do then I suggest that you take more physical exercise during the day so that the body is tired enough to want to go to sleep.

  7. Set your alarm clock to ring at the time you would be getting up to go to school. After it rings try to stay awake until its bedtime. If you find it hard to stay awake take a shower, maybe that will give you a feeling of re freshness. Try not to worry about middle school what ever you have to experience, whether good or bad, has its reasons. Just concentrate on your school work and be yourself.
