  1. It's just not possible.  Your body has a natural limit to the amount of muscle it will gain in any given period.  The only way to change that level is with steroids.

Now assuming that your diet, exercise and rest are absolutely perfect you will not gain more than 454 grams/1 pound per week.  That's absolutely the most you could gain.  It will also not ever be linear so it varies from person to person and week to week.

Now it's highly doubtful that you're doing everything right, no one does.  So you can halve that figure.

Even if we were working with the maximum, you can at most gain 4lb in a month.  It's more likely that you'll gain half of that so it's 2 lb in a month.

But what about all those stories of massive gains?  Well, either they are using drugs to get those gains, exaggerating or gaining mostly fat.

The truth is that if you're gaining more than a pound a month you are gaining fat.

I'm a trainer specialising in powerlifitng.  Powerlifitng is a world know for massive weight gains.  Most lifters have plenty extra body fat.  A few aren't.  I've never had a client gain more than 1 pound of dry muscle tissue in a month.  A few genetic freaks (like myself) can gain a pound a month.

Now here's a tip.  Don't worry about the weight on the scale unless you're a competitive lifter, bodybuilder, fighter, etc.

If you can cut your body fat you will look bigger.

A 15 inch arm can look bigger than an 18 inch arm if it's cut and the 18" arm is covered in fat.  It's really an optical illusion but works well.

By getting cut you can actually look 5-10lbs bigger.

  2. I HATE YOU, YOU SICKEN ME

  3. Drink lots of water, intake lots of calories, intake lots of protein, and work out a ton. Ensure you get at least 8 hours of rest per night.

On a side note, it's the August 30th in America. Where are you that it's the 31st and you're not using the metric system?

  4. It is not going to happen, without drugs.

You can not gain 8 pounds of muscle mass in one month.

  5. STEROIDS

  6. to gain muscle mass you must eat six times per day all protein and work out twice per day lifting heavy weights you need a personal trainer to teach you how to lift weights properly or you will hurt yourself its an art form you have to be in tune with your body a professional  might only gain four pounds of body mass in one year if he is lucky    and  works hard

  7. its actually august 30th

  8. Without supplements, it's impossible. Physiologically speaking, the body does not build muscle at that rate. Experts disagree, but about 2 lbs per month of PURE MUSCLE is about maximum.

Note, scale weight and actual muscle gain are NOT the same thing. Your scale may move 8lbs, but i guarantee you it won't be all muscle. This is because each gram of new muscle you build will "pull" about 4 grams of water into your muscle. This is because muscle stores glycogen, which has an osmotic potential.

Thus, the actual weight gain on the scale may be 5 lbs, but actual muscle weight is 1lb. The rest is water. This is scientific fact, btw. Not my opinion.

  9. I say you follow what benji says

  10. Benji has the right idea.

Eat lots of carbs & protein. Work out probably every other day, or every day isolating different areas (one day arms, next day back, next chest, etc)

When you're working out, use enough weight so you can only do about 6-7 reps. Do 5. Keep doing this. Get extra protein in after each work out. Shakes, eggs, whatever.

I gained 10-15 lbs in two months, and cut body fat percentage.

    Good luck!
