Global warming doesn't mean that the Earth heats up like a blowtorch and that winter disappears.  It's a steady increase of a few hundredths of a degree C each year.

Does global warming cause people to become less intelligent? Aren't there also other forces that affect climate, such as the tilting of Earth's axis resulting in seasons?

Good Question, I'm sure they are waiting for July, but I bet it's still going to be pretty darn cold up there even then. Unless the Russians like to take a dip in the Arctic Ocean.
